Snuggie Fleece Throw - As Seen On TV

Saturday, February 7th, 2009

Where do I start with the Snuggie Fleece Throw review? Well first I want everyone to know that I refuse to buy the Snuggie Fleece Throw (as seen on tv product). If someone wants me to review this one for real then contact me for my address and mail me a free one to try out.

I know that the Snuggie Fleece Throw is a big hit as far as how many orders they have gotten for this thing, and there was a little media buzz about the Snuggie Fleece Throw. But, I don’t see why!

When I first viewed the Snuggie Fleece Throw commerical I laughed. It ammused me because it appears to be nothing more than a XXXL fleece robe that is worn backwards.

My first thought was maybe someone manufactured incomplete robes and maybe could not afford to complete them as a robe, so some genius decided to call it a Snuggie and sell it as the Snuggie Fleece Throw. He might of said - I know! Lets make people where these robes bachwards and make millions off of them! WOW! It actually worked…

Millions have been sold from what I hear, but I wonder if people really like them or bought them out of curiousity or as a gag gift?

I refuse to by a robe and where it backwords so I refuse to buy th Snuggie. To make me a Snuggie user I will need a FREE fix first.

What do you think about the Snuggie Fleece Throw - Comment on this article and tell the world.

AWESOME AUGER - As Seen On TV

The Awesom Auger - As Seen On TV Product Review

Well we got our hands on the awesome auger which is the long drill bit looking digger that attaches to a drill and is supposed to dig holes (small ones) in a flach with great ease. Well the commercial has them digging in loose soil from what I can tell so I was worried this would not work on “real life” soil.

We got the Awesom Auger and the dril that came with it which was “Free” with an additional $37.00 shipping! Well the drill they sent was nothing like th eone on TV and had very low power, when using the drill that came with our Awesom Auger it kept jamming up and getting hung on minute debris.

So after getting frustrated with the Awesom Auger I switch the drill out for a more powerful black & decker drill I had on standby.

After changing the drill to a real drill the Awesom Auger did a great job or lived up to it’s name. It only does small holes but you can use it to loosen soil in small areas like a tiller if you have the time. It would be good for planting flowers and bulb, you need a powerful drill!

I would give the Awesom Auger 4 out of 10 points - If the drill they send worked good I would give it 7 out of ten.

Aqua Globes - As Seen On TV

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

Today we will also reveiw am As Seen On TV product that my Wife purchsed this past summer (not on tv) from Walmart, Agua Globe!

We tried to use the 2 Pack of Agua Globes in one plant which was a fern in a 5 gallon pot with nice soil. A fern does require a lot of water daily so the fern is not a good choice of a plant to use, or you will have to fil up your aqua globe daily (which defeats the purpose of buying them). They do however work very well for smaller (indoor plants). They are really good for when you go on a short vacation and for the lazy plant lover.

They are very to use, Just fill with water and stick it in the dirt! They seem to be well made and are made of strong hand blown glass, it is sill glass so be careful!

I would rate this product 7 out of 10 possible points.

The Amazing Monkey Hook - As Seen On TV

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

Every week or so I will be buying, trying, and reviewing “As Seen On TV” products and giving my honest “consumer Opinion” about the products I try.

I am starting this new weekly trend of Brainsack.com by reviewing a product I saw on TV a few weeks back, the product is called The Amazing: Monkey Hook (and yes it is amazing). I did not buy this product from the TV ad exactly, I purchased my 30pc Home & Office pack from my local Target Store for about $25.

I just used one for the first time today and it was a breeze, No Hammer, No Tools, No Nothing. Just me, my monkey hook (Gorrila Grade) and a very heavy wood carved picture of Budda.

Being one of those people who change their decor around a few times a year, I am always racing aroun looking for hammers, tools, nails and screws. Well, not anymore, from now on I will reach for my trusty easy to use MonkeyHooks.

The monkeyhooks come in 3 types/grades. There is a Flush Mount for plaques and other decor, a Gorilla Grade Hook for heavy large items (The strongest), and the original amazing monkey hook. I have only used the Gorilla grade thus far. I would like to also point out that this product is MADE IN THE USA and Made With American Steel. Support your country buy a MonkeyHook!

I rate MonkeyHook: 10 out of 10 Possible Points. Perfect!
